One of my favorite things about the game is the custom tokens. They’re all based on characters and objects from the movie, and they’re really well-made. I especially love the Squirrel token.
The game board is also really cool. It’s full of all the familiar locations from the movie, like Clark’s house, the Griswold family Christmas tree, and the Christmas light display.
The gameplay is pretty much the same as regular Monopoly, but there are a few special rules that are based on the movie. For example, if you land on Clark’s house, you have to pay extra rent if you have any decorations on your property. And if you land on the Griswold family Christmas tree, you have to sing “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.”
Overall, I really enjoyed playing Monopoly National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It’s a great game for fans of the movie, and it’s a lot of fun for everyone else too.
