I’m a huge fan of Velvet Revolver, so when I saw that they were releasing a live album, I was stoked. I pre-ordered it and waited impatiently for it to arrive. When it finally did, I ripped it open and listened to it immediately.
The album is amazing. It captures the energy of the band’s live performances perfectly. The sound quality is excellent, and the songs are all played perfectly. I especially love the version of “Slither” that’s on the album. It’s so much better than the studio version.
If you’re a fan of Velvet Revolver, or if you’re just a fan of great live music, then you need to check out this album. It’s a must-have for any music collection.

I’m not usually a fan of live albums, but I made an exception for Velvet Revolver’s Live in Houston. This album is simply amazing. The band sounds so tight and the energy is incredible. It’s like you’re right there in the audience, watching them perform.
My favorite song on the album is “Slither.” The way they build the song up to the big, epic chorus is just perfect. I also love the extended guitar solo in “Fall to Pieces.” It’s so bluesy and soulful.
