Why Is My Echo Dot Just Spinning Blue and Green?

I just got my new Echo Dot, and I’m excited to set it up. But when I turn it on, all it does is spin blue and green. What’s wrong?

I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that doesn’t work. I’ve also tried resetting it, but that doesn’t work either. I’m starting to think that my Echo Dot is defective.
